Object terminal RTS (Radio Transmission System) LARS

Designed for guarding lodgings, administrative, industrial and other premises.

There exist two versions of this type of equipment:

·        standard version (RTS LARS);

·        version “L” (RTS LARS-L).

The installation of the OT is done at the guarded object, with connection of alarm/fire annunciator. In case of alarm situation OT sends a message to the central surveillance console (CSC). There are two methods of doing this – dial-up telephone connection (in this case the equipment must be connected to the telephone line) and wireless link. Such a kind of message transmission increases its reliability as compared with other hardware, which use wireless ling or telephone line only.

Version “L” does not have a transmitter and transmits messages through telephone line only.

The turning on/off is done with the help of remote controls coming with the equipment. Besides these remotes can make an emergency call. The turning on/off may also be done with the help of side-mounted keyboard, connected to OT. Other peripheral units can also be connected to OT, such as remote sense light, alerter etc.

In case of intrusion into the guarded object press the help button. Otherwise the fire suppressing gauge of the OT will send a telephone or radio message to the CSC, installed at the company providing service of the object. On receiving the message the service company identifies the address, the type of intrusion with other identification signs and takes measures targeted at property protection and criminal apprehension.

The handling is performed with the help of side-mounted keyboard ADEMCO 6145. Also you can connect two remote indicators showing the current status of OT.

OT may send alarm/service messages through two telephone lines and one wireless channel. You can choose any of the three code sets for sending wireless messages.

OT makes it possible using up to 9 remote controls with unique codes as well as identification of each. Each remote has two buttons: “Guard” (“1”, turning on/off) and “Panic” (“2”) for making emergency call.

OT supports programmable delay (0…240s) at the input/output.

OT allows connecting with telephone according to GOST 25007-81. FTP and data format are ADEMCO ID Contact.

The standard version includes transmitter ATS100 (produced by ISECO), allowing to send wireless messages. The type of the transmitter, its serial number and given parameters can be found in “Test Certificate”. Any additional information concerning this type of transmitter and its specification you can find in OT configuration.

Version “L” does not have any transmitters.

OT enforces 12 security zones: six alarm system loops and six ADEMCO transmitters. The source voltage for three main loops is 12V. OT registers closed, normal and open conditions of the loops. OT allows connecting loop-powered sensors, with source voltage 12V and total input current 0.6 mA (loop 1..3) and 1.5 mA (loop 4..6 working in “special” mode). It is also possible to install sensors with external power supply – OT itself, for example, provided that current-carrying rating (250 mA for all peripheral units) is observed.

The main loops’ characteristics are given n the table:

Source voltage

12V

Nominal value of loop resistance

2.2 kOhm

Lowest operating threshold

1.4 kOhm

Highest operating threshold

3.4 kOhm*

Hump resistance of loop wires

0.5 kOhm

Terminal resistance of loop leakage

20 kOhm

When using wireless sensors OT allows connecting of wireless expander ADEMCO 5881. These may be and ADEMCO sensors, compatible with the given wireless expander (production run 58XX).

The mode of each zone is set individually when programming the equipment.

OT may monitor the working order of loops and battery, the integrity of operation information, the condition of telephone line and that of wireless sensors before turning on the equipment, but it also allows guarding of objects in the presence of loops’ defects.

OT provides event log (22 events). You can review the event log with the help of computer, connected through a special port.

OT may periodically send status messages to CSC. The interval of message sending through the telephone may be 2-18 hours. The existence and periodicity of wireless test messages is programmed by the transmitter and cannot be changed while it runs. All the information concerning the periodicity of wireless test messages for this type of OT is given in the “Test Certificate”.

OT also offers on-line diagnostics of loops, battery, transmitter and connection with CSC.

It also makes possible connecting of auxiliary equipment such as light/sound indicators with the help of multifunction relay. The total current must not exceed 250 mA.

OT is powered through the AC network (220 V, +22-33; 50±1Hz). The wattage must not exceed 30 W. OT has got a backup supply source (supplied in separate order), that is battery FIAM-GS with capacity 4 ampere-hour. The switching to the backup supply source and charging at presence of the primary power supply are automatic. With fully charged battery OT operates during 24 hours (without auxiliary equipment). In case of battery running out OT sends message to CSC.

The temperature of the premises where OT is set should be +1-+40 C, with relative humidity up to 90% at temperature 25C (group SN4 according to Russian State Standard (GOST) 15150?69).

OT provides electromagnetic compatibility according to hardness group 3, GOST 50009092.

OT size should not exceed 305x210x90mm, weight is 3 kg at most.
